Respect the value of money |
We must appreciate the value of money. don't live or act beyond your means.
don't spend money frivolously. Know how to save. Be cognizant of the fact that money is not so easy to come by.
Think how hard it is to make each dollar that you spend.
I reach out to our supporters, through both physical and spiritual means (through meditation), to come up with enough income to support our staff and attendants so that everyone here can live comfortably and be able to pursue perfected virtues without difficulties.
It gives me great joy and a peace of mind to be able to do this.
But if the staff and attendants fail to utilize our resources in a worthwhile manner, then no matter how much income we generate, it will never be enough.
And we will end up working our life away looking for money.
